Afrin is a doctoral candidate in the UA Department of Chemistry. Her expertise is spectroscopic, chemical and computational analysis, MATLAB-Chemometrics and human decomposition chemistry. She was the Entrepreneurial Lead for the S4 team in the NSF I-Corps effort.

His companies have launched more than a dozen products and he has consulted for over 200 large IT and technology firms. He is responsible for the business activities of the company.

David, Professor Emeritus from the UA Department of Chemistry, has an academic career focused on the exploration of uses for spectroscopy. He has published extensively in the field. Perry is responsible for research and development activities for the company.
Lamalani has a background in aquatic ecology and is a doctoral candidate in Integrated Biosciences at The University of Akron. She is researching drivers of harmful algal blooms from biogeochemistry and community ecology perspectives. Lamalani is the environmental expert for S4 Mobile Laboratories.
Linda Barrett, PhD
Linda, Associate Professor Emeritus from the UA Geosciences Department, has specific expertise in soil science and analysis. She is instrumental in creating the algorithms used to analyze spectral datasets and is expert in the GIS and mapping elements of the S4 commercial application in various industries.
Tim Matney, PhD
Tim is a Professor in UA Anthropology Department and has domain expertise in geophysical survey technology and in the mapping and analysis of human burials in the field. He has been involved in successful law enforcement efforts to locate clandestine human burials in northeastern Ohio.
